Testimonials

Dr.Whiteman is awesome. I had some bad bad experiences from previous dentists until I found Dr.Whiteman. Not only he fixed other dentists' poorly done job, saved my teeth and he helps me maintaining good healthy teeth. Even since he has became my dentist, I have no major dental problems at all. Thank you Dr.Oogle to help me find Dr.Whiteman and he is simply the best and I know I can trust him and his expertise 100%. No doubt about it! His whole staff are amazing too!

I have been seeing Dr. Whiteman for approximately 3 years and have been extremely satisfied with my experience there. I had sealants put on my teeth as a child and when several of them broke, cavities grew underneath. I had never had a cavity before and was a bit scared to get them filled. The procedure was almost entirely painless. In addition to being a great dentist, Dr. Whiteman always makes me feel comfortable and at ease. My experience for regular cleanings are excellent as well!

About Hygienist: Cleaning Time: 40 minutes. She is the best! Conversational and friendly while doing my cleanings, but always professional and courteous as well. I always leave with my teeth feeling exceptionally clean. :)

Dr. Whiteman knows his stuff. He has helped me with some complicated and emergency procedures, squeezing me in when it wasn't most convenient for him and explaining in detail what he was going to do to fix my situation. His staff is also very helpful, making normal scheduling and dealing with insurance a breeze. I would definitely recommend him.

I had a horrible toothache that needed attention. I found Dr. Whiteman on some dental blogs where he was rated very highly. When I called his office, his staff was very helpful and polite. Dr. Whiteman was fully booked but they made some time to fit me into his schedule. I was used to quick talk/work by previous dentists, but the dr took his time taking a thorough history before making some proclamations. It turned out my tooth was infected and needed a root canal. The whole process was explained to me in detail and though there was no time to perform the whole work that day, he went as far as to take me out of pain. I expected to have some pain after the novocaine wore off but I had none. almost one week of horrible pain was gone in one 40 minute appointment! He was gentle, calming and I got the sense that he is highly skilled and respected by his staff. It was actually a pleasant experience. Highly recommended as a competent dentist!

I had been avoiding the dentist for many years. I started to get some severe pain in one tooth and knew it was bad, so I made an appointment with Dr. Whiteman.

I have to say I expected a little condescension or attitude after not going to a dentist for many years, but there was nothing like that. Everyone was very friendly and genuine and some even admitted they had done the same in the past. They made me feel very comfortable. As expected, I had to have a root canal for the bad tooth. This was my first root canal and while the procedure itself was a bit uncomfortable, I didn't have to take a single pain killer after leaving the office.I think it has now been a year and a half since my initial visit. I could not be happier. Everyone I have dealt with at the office has been great, including Karen (the receptionist) and the dental hygienist -- I'm sorry, I don't remember her name. Dr. Whiteman is excellent. I find him very trustworthy, friendly and professional. I absolutely recommend Dr. Whiteman.

I've been quite traumatized by the large amount of dental work done when I was a kid, and have fostered a real aversion against dentists since. I would only go if absolutely necessary and would be very nervous about it... until now! Dr Whiteman is the best dentist I've ever had and I feel completely at ease and in great hands. He is very gentle, makes sure there is absolutely no discomfort during procedures and is very knowledgeable. Since I have two implants, it was important to me to have a dentist who is also an implantologist. I really appreciate how he takes time to for instance take pictures of the problem area to explain and show you what it looks like and discuss treatment options. He doesn't talk you into unnecessary treatments like some dentists I've been to have. When I chipped off a piece of a molar, which was causing me some discomfort, I could come by the same day. Dr Whiteman's assistant, the dental hygienist and the receptionist are equally friendly, competent and accommodating. Is short, if you're looking for an excellent and caring dental office, look no further!

I've been the patient of Dr. Whiteman for ~5 years. Before choosing him I went to several places, but Dr. Whiteman seemed to me (and I am very sure of this) as having the most professional integrity and experience; plus his prices are very reasonable. On multiple occasions he would look at the x-ray, check my teeth and say "Let's watch out for this tooth over here, but there is no need to do anything for now" - and won't ask for any payment. The teeth which Dr. Whiteman treated, are all in excellent shape. I am very happy with his practice, and I very much recommend it to anyone.

I had come from another dentist that I was increasingly unhappy with on many levels. I searched online for a good replacement, and based on the reviews of root canal work, I choose Dr. Whiteman's practice. Best decision in a long time. Clean, modern and a welcoming staff and setting, the office treats you with great respect, easy humor and a painless dental experience. Caroline (hygienist) is phenomenal and it's always a pleasure to see Dr. Whiteman for the exam. I appreciate the instant x-rays you see on the monitors when they reference what's going on or what's coming up that needs attention or watching. Couldn't be happier with them and, believe me, I dislike going to the dentist. Easy five stars from me. If you're looking to get a new dentist, I recommend fully.

I have been going to Dr. Whiteman for a little over a year now. Going to the dentist is not my favorite activity (no surprise!), but I actually look forward to my dentist appointments since switching to Dr. Whiteman's practice! The receptionist is extremely helpful with navigating insurance questions, and is remarkably friendly. The dental assistant is just wonderful...she even remembers details about stories I shared at my last appt. 6 months ago! Dr. Whiteman is professional, competent, and friendly. The best part about this office is that they don't make you feel guilty about not flossing or caring properly for your teeth; no lectures, no scolding, just great care in a clean, high-tech, friendly environment. If there are suggestions for better dental hygiene, they approach you in a non-accusatory way and give you great tips! For these reasons, I recommend Dr. Whiteman to all of my friends when they are in need of a new dentist. It's a bit of a drive for me, but worth every mile. Who knew going to the dentist could be kind of enjoyable?!!

Dr. Whiteman is absolutely the best dentist I've had the opportunity to work with in the Boston area, and I would highly recommend him. Every dentist should have Dr. Whiteman's training in physics and eagerness to stay at the cutting edge of dental science and technology.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Whiteman for 3 + yrs now. We decided to see him after reading several online positive reviews. We could not be happier! The staff is incredibly professional and welcoming. The current office manager, Karen, is very accommodating. On a couple of occasions, we've had to change or add an appointment at the last minute and she was very gracious in accommodating our request/need. In addition, she will assist you in finding out what your dental insurance covers. If you don't have time to call the office, you can send her an email and she responds the same day!

We can't say enough about the hygienist, Caroline. She is very professional, friendly, and a kick-ass hygienist! Unlike many hygienists we've been to in the past, she cleans your teeth manually instead of using a high-powered hook that wets your whole face and makes your gums bleed! For those of you who are sensitive to dental cleanings, Caroline is very gentle and sensitive to any apprehensions you may have about tooth sensitivity and overall dental visits. She also keeps up on current dental research and attends continuing education courses. Our teeth always look and feel great after our visits with her.

Dr. Whiteman has done work on both of us. My husband had an awful crown placed 20+ years ago and was in need of replacement. In addition, he needed a veneer on the tooth next to it due to grinding his teeth. Dr. Whiteman did an INCREDIBLE job! My husband's teeth look beautiful! Dr. Whiteman took his time making him feel comfortable as the anesthetic was delivered, in finding the right shade for my husband's teeth, and molding the temporary teeth so they looked natural while the permanent ones were on order. Frankly, we could not imagine his teeth could look any better with the permanent ones, but they do!

Dr. Whiteman has redone a couple of my fillings. Like many, I've had very negative experiences with past dentists, so I was very nervous when I had to have work done. Both times, he made me feel very comfortable. He took his time with the anesthetic and talked me through everything he was doing and what I should expect. He is always pleasant and answers all my questions without any tone of condescension. He is the first dentist I have been to that takes great care in examining your teeth, going over any work needed, and answering all my questions without pushing any kind of work that could seem excessive. After a life time of awful dentists, it is refreshing and a great relief having found him.
