Karen - Office Manager
Karen has been with us for 16 years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Arizona State University. She has five years of corporate experience working for two of the big five accounting firms. Her main areas of concentration were in the audit and forensic accounting divisions.
At Whiteman Dental Associates she oversees all business aspects of the practice. Her 16 years in the dental world affords her a deep understanding of both clinical and non-clinical issues. This enables her to assist our staff in the sometimes complex insurance issues that patients may have along with treatment plan explanation and coordination. She is our “go to person” to ensure the ultimate in patient satisfaction and service. Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
Heather - Registered Dental Hygienist
Heather is an experienced dental hygienist with 24 years of practice. She is a graduate of the renowned Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene (1997). She has worked in solo and multi-specialty group practices and built and maintained a large, loyal patient base through the years based on her exceptional skill set, personable demeanor and dedication to her work. She enjoys helping her patients achieve optimal oral health in a supportive (non-judgmental) manner. She is also licensed to administer local anesthesia. When she is not at work, she enjoys reading, crocheting, cooking and working out on her Peleton and spending time with her family.
Danielle - Dental Assistant
Danielle is our Dental Assistant. She completed the Dental Assisting Training Program at Boston University. She currently holds her Dental Assisting License as well as her CPR and radiology certifications. Her duties and responsibilities include triaging emergency patients, preparing patients for dental procedures and assisting Dr. Whiteman chairside. In addition, Danielle focuses on maintaining stringent infection control standards by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and operatories, setting up procedural trays and preparing the necessary dental materials. Also, she impressively maintains our inventory supply. Most importantly, through her positive, warm and professional demeanor, Danielle is there to provide outstanding care and support to all of our patients throughout their time in the dental chair. When Danielle is not at work, she enjoys playing guitar, traveling and listening to live music.
